Pure Water With Dignity: Our First Full Day In Guatemala
Guatemala presented our team of twelve with a gorgeous, sunny day. We divided into equal teams and installed water filters and spent time visiting with numerous families in Los Verdes.
The families paid for a part of the filters they received with the rest subsidized by Connection Pointe and Vision Trust. This provides the families with a sense of ownership, but more importantly dignity. Dignity in knowing that they can help provide for their family and keep them healthy.
Relationships were strengthened between this rural village of God and our mega church of God.
We are all in this journey of life together.
