Perspectives – Made for More
Connection Pointe has a 180-year history. Anytime I mention that to people outside of central Indiana the response is one of surprise. How could a church last that long? Yet when I look at the work of God around the world, down through the ages, it should be no surprise at all.
Perspectives, an opportunity to learn of the world Christian movement, is coming to Connection Pointe! Starting Aug 8 – Nov 14, 6:30-9:15 every Tuesday evening, we will be hosting speakers from across the country who will give insight to the Biblical, historical, cultural and strategic perspectives of how God has advanced His Kingdom since the beginning of time. Along with the learning on Tuesday evenings, there will be a reader and study guide for every person who registers for the course. By keeping up with the topics and attending weekly, those who come will have a greater appreciation for God’s faithfulness to His Church and gratitude for his continued involvement of the local church and believers today.
Who should take this course?
Anyone interested in learning how they were “Made for More.” You will come away with using what’s in you to bless the world around you. High school age to retired are welcome. If you have been on a mission trip or sponsor a child, this would be a good next step for you to take. If you want to learn more about why we support global missions as a church, this is the course for you. If you want to understand why we have several from our church on the mission field and several more preparing to go, and what got into them to make such a life-changing decision, come find out.
Registrations have already begun. We will have people in the lobby the next two weekends to register all who are interested.

- Current cost is $200 for first-timers, increasing to $240 after June 18.
- The course is available at 3 levels – Key reading, Certificate (homework involved) and even college credit for an increased cost.
- Scholarships are available for any level and will be considered on an individual basis. Alumni of Perspectives can come for free. Fill out the scholarship form here.
If you cannot make a Tuesday night, this course will also be offered on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday in other central Indiana locations (Columbus, Greenwood, Carmel). The same speaker will rotate to each location the week he/she is here. Here’s a short video to tell you more…
