Today, our team traveled four hours from Johannesburg, South Africa and safely arrived in Mbabane, Swaziland. We couldn’t be more excited about our first stop….a Care Pointe in Mvutjini. The children, what seemed like close to 200, greeted us in song and prayer. Our team then spent the afternoon helping to serve food, playing soccer and other games, loving, hugging, and just enjoying being with the children.
One can hear what a Care Pointe is like, but all of our team agree that hearing and experiencing are not even close! We were all impacted by the joy we saw by the smallest of gestures…a hug, a thumbs up, or a “sweetie” (piece of candy). It was an amazing day with even more amazing kids! Next stop…Njojane!
You all look so happy along with the children. Praying for you!!
What a great start! From the look of those faces, I’d say someone was glad to see you and it was mutual! Prayers for all of you.
Looks like God is blessing so many. Prayers for the whole team and all thekids
