Day number two has been tedious, but fruitful. We have had numerous projects going including: installing 3 new bathrooms, many electrical projects, new sewer and water lines installed, and new vents for the school bathrooms. Fortunately, God has blessed us with a very gifted team of carpenters, electricians, and construction workers to accomplish these very skilled tasks. With all the work has brought with it over four trips to the local hardware store (over 20 minutes away), which has been my primary contribution of the day.

These projects might not sound very glamorous, but they are critical to the work of the mission. The infrastructure has been neglected for a number of years and now that Lifeline has taken over there is lots of focus on the infrastructure so the work of the mission can move forward. A perfect example is that the work our group is doing will enable a group of 65 teens to come in a couple of weeks and then additional groups to come throughout the summer. It has been neat to listen to the vision that the on site missionaries have for this place including expanding the school and unique ways if ministering to the Navajo. God will use the work of each group and the missionaries to accomplish his greater purpose.
