PARTNER PRAYER POINTS

Swaziland – Teresa and I had an hour-long conversation Monday to get acquainted with our new partnering organization in Swaziland, Children’s Cup. For those of you who don’t know, One Child Matters has been working with Children’s Cup to transfer all child sponsorship responsibilities to Children’s Cup. All current sponsors of Swazi children should have already received information from One Child Matters on this process. During our conversation with Ben Rogers, President of Children’s Cup, we learned of his heart not only for the children at Njojane but also for church-planting. Ben and his family lived in Swaziland for seven years and understands very well the context of the work there. We are excited about this new chapter in our partnership with Children’s Cup in Swaziland. PRAY for the transition to be a smooth one.

South America – Both countries where our partners work are experiencing difficulties. PRAY for Bruce and Alice, Bruce E and Cindy.  Bruce E will be traveling later this month and requests prayer for all the travel logistics to work out so he can do the training he has planned.

India – Chuck Rapp and I visited with Victor John two weeks ago when he was in town. The believers in India are under increasing threat.  PRAY for these precious people who count the cost daily of following Christ. PRAY for the leaders as they continually assess how to lead a persecuted movement.

Turkey – Stacey wrote that there is a vote later this month to change the constitution. PRAY for the country as they go through this process.

Kenya – Giles and Alison sent an urgent request yesterday for their Kenyan colleague Tom who was hit by a vehicle and at first report was in a grave situation. As people prayed the second report came back with far better news! Tom was alert with no head fracture or brain damage, but still badly injured.  PRAY for Tom and a full recovery.

Guatemala – our student team has returned, and we understand all went well. PRAY for these students and the adults who went with them as they process all God taught them. PRAY for the staff and children at the Learning Center, especially the several students that still need a sponsor.

Thank you for praying for God’s global kingdom workers.

Til next week
